Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Kaonke Trucking. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer combination and transporting goods and materials over long distances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload goods from the trailer
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition
  • Communicate with central dispatch to receive and relay information
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 1 or A Driver's License
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
