Job Summary:

Randy's Pizza & Donair is seeking a seasoned Food Service Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our busy restaurant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining high food quality, and leading a motivated team of staff.

About You:

  • You have 1-2 years of experience in a fast-paced food service environment, supervising staff and managing day-to-day operations.
  • You possess excellent leadership skills, with the ability to establish clear work schedules and ensure efficient team performance.
  • You are committed to providing top-notch customer service, addressing complaints in a professional manner, and exceeding customer expectations.
  • You have basic security clearance and are able to maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish effective methods to meet work schedules and supervise staff who prepare and portion food.
  • Evaluate inventory levels and estimate ingredients and supplies to minimize waste and optimize efficiency.
  • Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure consistency in food preparation and presentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare reports as needed.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education an asset.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a fast-paced food service environment, with supervisory experience preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, think critically, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Basic math skills, including estimating ingredients and supplies, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Working Conditions:

  • Fast-paced environment with frequent changes in priorities.
  • Physically demanding, requiring prolonged standing, walking, and lifting.
  • Work under pressure, meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards of quality.

Salary Range:$45,000-$60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
