About the Role

The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of relevant experience in construction safety, with a strong understanding of health and safety legislation and regulations. They will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining our Health and Safety Program, as well as conducting site inspections and hazard assessments.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the Health and Safety Program, including training employees on health and safety procedures
  • Conduct regular site inspections and hazard assessments to identify potential risks and hazards
  • Work closely with project managers, supervisors, and employees to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on health and safety matters
Requirements
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in construction safety
  • Certification in occupational health and safety (OHS) an asset
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
  • Proficient in MS Office and Procore software
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
