Electrician Technician

We are seeking a skilled Electrician Technician to join our team at GAP Electric Ltd. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical work and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Work Term

The work term for this position is permanent, with a minimum of 40 to 50 hours per week.

Education and Experience

A Registered Apprenticeship certificate and 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the electrical trade are required for this position.

Work Site Environment

The successful candidate will be required to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in hot environments.

Work Setting

This position will involve working in a variety of settings, including construction, service, and maintenance, with the possibility of working in remote locations.

Certificates, Licences, Memberships, and Courses

The successful candidate will be required to hold an Electrician Trade Certification and a Construction Electrician Red Seal Certificate.

Security and Safety

A basic security clearance and a criminal record check will be required for this position.

Transportation/Travel Information

A vehicle will be supplied by the employer, and the successful candidate will be required to have a valid driver's licence and be willing to travel.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and the ability to work overtime as required.

Own Tools/Equipment

The successful candidate will be required to provide their own steel-toed safety boots.
