About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Android Software Engineer to join our team at Transit. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our Android app.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with our cross-functional team to identify and prioritize new features and improvements for our Android app.
- Develop and maintain high-quality Android code, ensuring seamless integration with our existing architecture.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of new features, working closely with our design team to ensure a cohesive user experience.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality code and best practices.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Kotlin and C++ programming languages.
- Experience with Android Studio and Android development tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Jetpack Compose and other Android development frameworks.
- Proficiency in Git and GitHub.
- Previous experience developing and launching Android apps.
- Passion for urban planning, transportation, and technology.
