Main Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled DevOps engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and building reliable, trusted, and timely analytics that accelerate the decision-making process of key product and business functions.
- Architect and Support Large Kubernetes Environment: You will architect and support large Kubernetes environments powering internal and external applications.
- Enforce Practices for Reliability: As the authoritative figure, you will enforce practices that improve reliability across the entire stack.
- Recommend Tools and Practices: You will recommend and implement proper tools and practices that the team should follow to support operational excellence.
Key Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must have proven experience in supporting continuous delivery, infrastructure automation, and observability in AWS. You should also have an advanced understanding of DevOps practices and technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, release management, and e2e testing.
Familiarity with Node and Python: Experience setting up data streaming servers, such as Kafka or RabbitMQ for real-time and asynchronous applications utilizing protocols like gRPC.
Strong Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug and optimize Linux systems, networking concepts, and containerization technologies.
Working with Startups: Experience working with startups and knowledge of network security and the ability to work with an engineering team to keep things secure.
