About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Painter and Decorator to join our team at Singh Concrete And Renovations Inc. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all painting and decorating work is completed to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Painting
    • Prepare surfaces to be painted, including cleaning and sanding.
    • Mix and apply paint to desired colour and texture.
    • Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls.
  • Repair and Maintenance
    • Repair cracks and holes in walls and surfaces.
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
    • Comply with all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Communication and Customer Service
    • Advise customers on colours and choice of wall coverings.
  • Equipment and Materials
    • Erect scaffolding and swing stages as required.
    • Attach rigging and other equipment as necessary.
  • Work Environment
    • Work outdoors and in various locations.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Physical Demands
    • Physically demanding work environment.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Attention to detail.
    • Flexibility.
    • Reliability.
Working Conditions
  • 35 hours per week.
