We are a dynamic and entrepreneurial-minded organization that values innovation and employee growth. We are currently seeking a highly motivated Data Analyst to join our team in Brampton. The successful candidate will work closely with our IT Development team to drive business decisions through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect, organize, and analyze data from various load boards to identify areas of opportunity and support business decisions.
  • Analyze large datasets to recommend innovative improvement initiatives and drive business growth.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis, interpret results, and communicate findings in a clear and concise manner.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to automate daily monitoring of models in production, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary improvements.
  • Develop and troubleshoot advanced SQL queries in Snowflake to extract valuable insights.
  • Analyze freight carriers and lanes based on capacity, utilization, insurance, price, safety, and service.
  • Analyze data related to efficiency process improvement and freight network design.
  • Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across different systems and sources.
  • Communicate design and development strategies to stakeholders, educate them as needed, and ensure seamless implementation.
  • Research data and prepare analytics based on division of trucking operations.
  • Prepare recommendations for efficiency and improvements to existing processes.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in technology, data analytics, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of Snowflake data cloud analytics experience, including practical use of the Snowflake Data Cloud.
  • College diploma or bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
  • General understanding of databases (MySQL, SQL Server & Snowflake).
  • Experience with Snowflake and Pyspark is an asset.
  • Experience in the Logistics/Transportation or Supply Chain industries is an asset.
  • Professional experience with reporting packages (Power BI, Tableau, Matillion etc.), databases, and general programming languages.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding operational environment with minimal supervision.
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills, as well as strong interpersonal and customer relation skills.
