Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Resource Bridge Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for the design and construction engineering of resource bridge and culvert projects in the public and private sectors. You will have extensive knowledge of resource bridge design, evaluation, inspections, specifications, and construction engineering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a design team and supervise and coordinate the activity of other engineers and project team members.
  • Mentor new and junior employees and foster strong relationships with clients.
  • Design and construct resource bridge and culvert projects in the public and private sectors.
  • Develop and implement business development strategies, budgets, and project management plans.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with a structural concentration.
  • Alberta Transportation (AT) Class A and Class B Bridge Inspection Certifications.
  • Registered (or eligible for registration) as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Alberta.
  • 5 or more years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in bridge assessment, bridge planning, bridge load evaluation, and culvert sizing.
  • Strong working knowledge of the Canadian Highway Bridge Design Code (CAN/CSA-S6) and the Canadian Foundation Engineering Manual.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members in a multi-disciplined environment.
