About the Role

Lancian Plumbing is seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team. As a Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in various locations, including commercial, institutional, and residential settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Installation: Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.
  • Site Preparation: Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
  • Pipe Fitting and Testing: Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings, and test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
  • Piping System Requirements: Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing, and measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Possess a Plumber Trade Certification and a Plumber Red Seal Certificate.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and be able to lift, bend, and kneel.
  • Tools and Equipment: Possess steel-toed safety boots and a set of tools.
  • Personal Qualities: Be accurate, a team player, and possess excellent oral communication skills.
Requirements
  • Experience: Experience as a Plumber is an asset.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Schedule: Work 30 to 40 hours per week.
