Job Opportunity
CEDA is currently seeking Operators at our Fort McMurray, AB location. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of industrial chemical cleaning projects, including exchanger cleaning, tank cleaning, and large bore pumping systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain chemical cleaning equipment and other specialty tools
- Complete minor maintenance and checks on equipment
- Ensure safety for all team members and property
- Provide quality services to our clients
- Work as part of a team and follow direction from supervision
- Learn new skills every day by rigging in and out specialty equipment
- Leave the job site in better condition than when you arrived, clean, safe, and job done
- Complete required paperwork for projects and jobs
- Read work orders and designate proper hoses, chemicals, and other equipment required for the job
- Ensure equipment is properly decontaminated at the end of the job
Qualifications
- Valid Class 1 or Class 3 licence with no more than 5 demerits in the last 3 years
- 1+ years' experience in an industrial environment
- Able to provide a negative result on a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
- CSTS-09 & OSSA Regional; BSO or Common Safety Orientation certification
- Experience in industrial chemical cleaning projects, including exchanger cleaning, tank cleaning, and large bore pumping systems
- Experience working with industrial chemistries, including hydrochloric, sulphamic, formic, and nitric acid, caustic, ammonium biflouride, soda ash, and various degreasers and degassing chemistries
Skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Safety-focused when it comes to people and equipment
- Physically demanding work, able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Enjoy working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to work well in a team, share a laugh with coworkers, and get the job done safely
