Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Diamond Sweets & Restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene in our kitchen and dining areas.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that all issues are resolved promptly and to the satisfaction of our customers.
- Culinary Knowledge: Have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres, including East Indian cuisine, and be able to provide guidance and support to our culinary team.
- Supervision: Supervise a team of 5-10 staff members, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure that they are working effectively and efficiently.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Language: Fluency in English is required.
