At Redstar Transport Ltd, we're looking for a skilled Overseas Goods Hauler to join our team.

We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description

As an Overseas Goods Hauler, you will be responsible for driving as part of a two-person team or convoy, loading and unloading goods, obtaining special permits, and overseeing the condition of your vehicle.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • • Drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • • Perform emergency roadside repairs
  • • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption

You will also be responsible for performing pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, as well as ensuring the safety and security of cargo.

Working Conditions

This is a permanent position with 50 hours of work per week. You will work in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure to meet deadlines.
