Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Kitchen Management: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that we always have the necessary resources to meet demand.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Ensure that the kitchen and work areas are clean and well-maintained, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, ensuring that they have the necessary skills to perform their duties effectively.
- Supply Chain Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed, ensuring that we always have the necessary resources to meet demand.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Work Setting: This role is based in a restaurant setting, with the possibility of working in a rural area.
- Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
- Language: English is the primary language spoken in this role.
