Key Responsibilities
  • Childcare Services: Provide childcare services to children in a home-based setting, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
  • Light Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals to children.
  • Activity Organization: Organize activities such as games and outings for children.
  • Record Keeping: Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children.
  • Emotional Support: Provide emotional support and care to children.
  • Homework Assistance: Assist children with homework and other educational activities.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Hold a valid CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate.
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in childcare.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
Work Environment

The Home Child Care Provider will work in a non-smoking environment and may be required to work in the employer's home. Optional accommodation may be available at no charge on a live-in basis.
