Lead Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Lead Hand Carpenter to join our team at the SEAL-IT GROUP.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Lead Hand Carpenter to lead our carpentry projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various tasks, ensuring that they are completed efficiently and effectively.

• Prepare detailed estimates of labor and material costs to ensure accurate budgeting.
• Analyze blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements and create layouts that meet building codes.
• Cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to produce high-quality finishes.
• Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware requires attention to detail and expertise.
• SUPERVISION: Manage a team of 1 to 2 people, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project completion.

• A valid driver's license is required for transportation purposes.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as accuracy, reliability, and teamwork are essential.
• Punctuality and meeting deadlines are critical in this role.

Based on industry standards and regional factors, we estimate the salary for this position to be around $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
