Job Title: Accounting Technician

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Technician to join our team at JOSHEBEN AUTO SALES INC. As an Accounting Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and performing various accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other accounting documents.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Tasks: Perform various accounting tasks, including reconciliations, journal entries, and account analysis.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Windows, and MS Word.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently, attention to detail, fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, tight deadlines, and work under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, time management, adaptability.

Requirements:

  • College/CEGEP education.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience.

Work Environment:

40 hours per week.
