We are seeking a skilled Barbering Professional to join our team at The premium barbershop Ltd. As a Barbering Professional, you will be responsible for cutting and trimming hair according to clients' instructions or preferences. You will also be responsible for shampooing customers' hair, shaving and trimming beards and mustaches, and providing exceptional customer service.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Will train

Tasks
  • Cut and trim hair according to client's instructions or preferences
  • Shampoo customers' hair
  • Shave and trim beards and mustaches
Certifications and Licenses
  • Barbering Trade Certification
Security and Safety
  • Criminal record check
Support for Newcomers and Refugees
  • Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition
  • Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees
Support for Indigenous People
  • Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers
  • Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers

This is a permanent position with 35 hours of work per bi-weekly period. The work language is English.
