Job Title: Construction Worker

We are seeking a skilled Construction Worker to join our team at Power Roofing & Sheet Metal. As a Construction Worker, you will be responsible for assisting in the construction and maintenance of buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Help medical examiners in charge
  • Pave and rake asphalt
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials
  • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites
Requirements:
  • Experience in construction or a related field is an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
Working Conditions:
  • Work will be performed outdoors in various weather conditions
  • May be required to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • May be exposed to hazardous materials and equipment
Language:
  • English is the primary language of communication
Work Schedule:
  • 35-40 hours per week
