Food Service Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Operations Manager to join our team at The Juice Truck.
- This is a full-time position requiring approximately 30 to 40 hours of work per week.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food service operations, including menu planning, inventory management, staff supervision, and customer service.
- Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures.
- Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms.
- Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that stock levels are adequate and expired products are removed promptly.
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed, maintaining a clean and safe working environment for both staff and customers.
- Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies, securing the best possible prices while meeting quality standards.
- Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities, providing exceptional customer service and building strong relationships.
- Participate in marketing plans and implementation, contributing ideas and expertise to promote the business.
- Address customers' complaints or concerns, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Provide customer service, responding to queries and feedback in a timely and courteous manner.
- Manage events, coordinating logistics and ensuring a seamless experience for attendees.
- Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations, monitoring performance and implementing improvements as needed.
- Work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Perform repetitive tasks, such as data entry and record-keeping, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Combine sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day, with occasional physical demands associated with lifting and moving equipment.
- Overtime may be required, particularly during peak periods or special events.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in food service operations or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and accuracy, with a focus on maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to changing circumstances.
The estimated salary for this role is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
