Job Title: Leadership Instructor 1 - Babysitter Training & Home Alone

We are seeking a motivated and responsible individual to join our team as a Leadership Instructor 1 - Babysitter Training & Home Alone. As a casual employee, you will be responsible for delivering fun and interactive learning experiences for school-aged children.

About the Role:

This is a casual position that requires flexibility and adaptability. You will be working with children, other leaders, volunteers, and facility staff to deliver a high-quality program. The ideal candidate will have previous experience planning and leading school-age and youth programs, as well as current Standard First Aid, CPR Level C, and Babysitter Training/Home Alone credentials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver curriculum-based Babysitter Training and Home Alone courses through engaging and safe activities
  • Work collaboratively with other NVRC leaders and supervisors to ensure a high-quality program
  • Ensure the curriculum is delivered creatively and effectively to participants
  • Work within the guidelines of the Child Safe Trainer requirements for each course
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 16 years of age
  • Previous experience planning and leading school-age and youth programs
  • Current Standard First Aid, CPR Level C, and Babysitter Training/Home Alone credentials
  • Ability to work with limited supervision
  • Detail-oriented and solutions-oriented
