EMCO Corporation is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our procurement team. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth receipt, processing, and delivery of goods to our facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general physical activities to load, unload, sort, and move shipments by hand or using handling equipment.
  • Examine received goods for damage and compare records, such as manifests, invoices, or purchase orders, to verify the accuracy of shipment.
  • Action internal requisition orders and requests; picking, sorting, delivering of goods and maintaining records of such.
  • Ensure received goods are delivered efficiently across property.
  • Complete departmental paperwork, including delivery and receiving logs, inventory records, etc.
  • Assist with packing items and preparing shipments using online accounts and freight services.
  • Report any low or depleted inventory levels within the department in a timely manner to enable reordering.
  • Correspond with Leaders across property to rectify issues encountered and/or highlight opportunities for improvement to processes.
  • Manage requests for cross-property transfers alongside shipment deliveries to maximize efficiency and adhere to time constraints.
  • Communicate using excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal skills.
  • Ensure the shipping and receiving area is always maintained in a clean and orderly fashion.
  • Ensure the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Perform local pickup and delivery tasks as necessary.

Requirements

  • Minimum high school education
