Job Title: Life Cycle Material Manager Technician

ADGA Group Consultants is currently recruiting multiple Life Cycle Material Management Technicians to join a long-standing Defence Program that we have supported for 20+ years.

We are looking for candidates who have retired from the Canadian Forces. If you have a background working as a Technician in any field within the Military, please feel free to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct engineering studies and analysis to provide technical solutions to stated technical/logistic or operational requirements/problems.
  • Prepare and issue Material Change Notices (MCNs) whenever ECs affect end-items.
  • Define standards and criteria relevant to equipment or systems maintenance.
  • Prepare, modify or update specifications and drawings.
  • Perform configuration management.
  • Monitor and report on material under management.
  • Investigate Unsatisfactory Condition Reports (UCRs) and Technical Failure Reports (TFRs).
Requirements:
  • Must hold a valid SECRET level clearance with Public Works/PSPC.
  • Experience in the preparation of technical documentation.
  • Ideal experience would include some of the following: developing briefing notes and presentations, liaising with stakeholders, providing advice and guidance, using a recognized Process framework, working on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
Education Requirement:
  • The ideal candidates will have a college diploma in Electronics, Computer Technology or a relevant technical field required to support LCSS (Land Command Support Systems/Military related).
  • A demonstrated Qualification Level 6B (QL6B) in a relevant technical field (in Canadian Forces) required to support LCSS and a demonstrated min substantive rank of Warrant Officer in the Canadian Forces.
