Avionics Engineer

At Ledcor, a leading provider of fleet and aviation solutions in Canada's North and beyond, we are seeking an experienced Avionics Engineer to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to leverage your skills and experience in large fixed wing aircraft maintenance and troubleshooting.

We are looking for a highly skilled and licensed Avionics Technician (AME-E) with extensive knowledge of aircraft systems, particularly in large transport category fixed wing aircraft. As a key member of our team, you will provide day-to-day maintenance and troubleshooting support on aircraft Avionics systems.

• Perform day-to-day on-aircraft Avionics troubleshooting and repair tasks
• Maintain and inspect Avionics systems, including communications, navigation, autopilot, and power distribution
• Carry out various installations and repairs on aircraft
• Operate Avionics test equipment and troubleshoot faulty systems

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• A minimum of 2 years' licensed Avionics experience
• A Transport Canada AME 'E' License
• Previous experience on large transport category fixed wing aircraft, preferably with ATR 42/72 and/or RJ85/Bae 146 series aircraft
• Extensive knowledge of aircraft systems and strong troubleshooting skills
