Tractor Trailer Driver Opportunity

Sokil Group of Companies is seeking a skilled Tractor Trailer Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be based out of our Edmonton, Calgary, or New Westminster locations.

Requirements:

  • A valid Class 1 Commercial Drivers License
  • A clean Motor Vehicle Record
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the transportation industry
  • 6 demerits or less on their driving record
  • No impaired driving charges within the last 5 years
  • No occupational criminal code convictions
  • Previous compliance with Hours of Service Regulations and Cargo Securement Regulations
  • Ability to comply with NSC Regulations
  • EEMV – LC Combination course (if required)
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on attention to detail and continuous improvement
  • Proficiency with computer equipment, cell phones, GPS, scanners, e-forms, and internet
  • Able to follow all provincial laws and regulations, company policies, OH&S, and TDG
