Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bulk Plant Operator to join our team at Magnum Cementing Services. As a Bulk Plant Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient blending and mixing of materials for our cementing services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Blend and Mix Materials: Under the direction of the Station Manager, you will blend and mix materials as per programmed design specifications to ensure high-quality cementing services.
  • Inventory Management: You will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, handling chemicals, and ensuring that additives are labeled and stored properly.
  • Equipment Maintenance: You will perform regular maintenance on equipment, including start-up, maintenance, and inspections to ensure optimal performance.
  • Safety and Compliance: You will adhere to and enforce company Safety policies, ensuring compliance with HSE legislation and DOT regulations.
  • Communication: You will effectively communicate with other departments, including sales and dispatch, to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands: You must be physically capable of moving/lifting heavy objects up to 40 kg, bending, standing, and climbing repeatedly for extended periods.
  • Availability: You must be able to work a 15 days on, 6 days off rotational schedule, remaining fit for duty at all times.
  • Experience: You must have experience in oil and gas cementing services, preferably as a Bulk Plant Operator.
  • Skills: You must possess strong mathematical skills, good computer skills, and the ability to keep records and build reports and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Training and Certifications: You must have training in WHMIS and TDG, and a valid class 1 (Canada) / class A CDL (U.S.) driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Oil Field Tickets: You must possess oil field tickets.
  • Continuous Improvement: You must demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
