Retail Store Supervisor Job Description
At Asia Food City, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store meets its sales and customer satisfaction targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of store staff, including sales associates, cashiers, and stockroom personnel.
- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that they are properly trained and equipped to meet customer needs.
- Order merchandise and manage inventory levels to ensure that the store is well-stocked and that customers can find what they need.
- Authorize returns and exchanges, and resolve customer complaints in a fair and timely manner.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that store staff are working efficiently and effectively.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to help inform store management decisions.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of workers, including cash handling, customer service, and stockroom operations.
- Manage cash and ensure that store finances are accurately recorded and reported.
- Oversee payroll administration and ensure that store staff are paid accurately and on time.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to store staff to help them improve their performance.
Requirements:
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail store management role.
- Ability to supervise and coordinate the activities of store staff.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to analyze sales data and make informed decisions about store operations.
- Basic math skills and ability to manage cash and inventory.
