About the Opportunity

The Behaviour Analyst conducts clinical assessments, designs behaviour support plans, implements training and techniques, and evaluates efficacy for agency clients. Ensuring that behavioural services comply with agency policies, mission, and values is crucial. Providing or ensuring the availability/completion of clinical intervention training enables unregulated staff members to deliver quality, safe services to clients. Acting as an internal liaison regarding clinical supports and front-line staff is also essential.

  • Determine target behaviours and client goals using client-centered practice and risk frameworks.
  • Recommend and design appropriate interventions based on assessment results, supporting environments, risks, constraints, social validity, and evidence-based practice.
  • Design data collection and analysis forms/procedures and train HIRO staff on their use when necessary.
  • Implement and systematically monitor the effectiveness of skill-acquisition and/or behaviour reduction programs.
  • Educate and communicate with families, clients, and other community professionals as needed.
Requirements

This role requires a degree or certification in behavioural science or a related field, or relevant work experience. The ability to speak French is considered an asset.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
