Job Summary

Canadian Spring Repair Ltd. is seeking a skilled Welder - Fabrication and Repair Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal parts and products to meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret and execute welding process specifications to ensure high-quality welds.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, including flame-cutting equipment, to fabricate and repair metal parts and products.
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, and manuals to ensure accurate fabrication and repair.
  • Examine welds to ensure they meet standards and specifications, and perform minor repairs on welding equipment as needed.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and safe fabrication and repair processes.
  • Participate in quality control and assurance activities to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in welding and metal fabrication, preferably in a manufacturing or repair environment.
  • Strong knowledge of welding processes, including MIG, TIG, and arc-air cutting.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
