Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Executive Director of Resident Care to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our community. Your expertise and passion for delivering exceptional care will be instrumental in driving our success.

As an Executive Director of Resident Care, you will oversee the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring each resident receives tailored support to meet their unique needs. You will also lead by example, promoting a culture of compassion and respect within our community.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing residents' needs and developing individualized care plans
  • Liaising with healthcare professionals, families, and volunteers to ensure holistic care
  • Coordinating regular Interdisciplinary Care Conferences and Medication Review meetings
  • Conducting monthly audits to identify areas for improvement
  • Fostering a safe and inclusive environment for residents and staff

In return for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience. This is a full-time position with opportunities for professional growth and development.

Requirements

To succeed as our Executive Director of Resident Care, you must possess:

  • A graduate degree in Nursing or a related field
  • Current registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Proven experience in caring for frail elderly and physically/mentally challenged individuals
