Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welding Fabricator Specialist to join our team at MATHARU WELDING & FABRICATION BUMPERS. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal parts and products using various welding processes.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires strong attention to detail, excellent manual dexterity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have experience with manual or semi-automatic welding equipment and be able to interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

Responsibilities
  • Fabricate and repair metal parts and products using various welding processes, including shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), and gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW).
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, such as welders, torches, and grinders.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the required welding procedures.
  • Examine welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and company policies.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in a related field, such as welding technology or engineering.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a welding or fabrication role.
  • Strong knowledge of welding processes, materials, and equipment.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
