About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Daniel Putnam. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to our clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Household Duties: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including laundry and meal preparation.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in activities such as conversation, reading, or watching movies.
  • Errands and Shopping: Assist clients with grocery shopping, meal preparation, and other errands.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, reliability, patience, and the ability to work independently.
