About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Accountant to join our team at Vaco. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for reconciling monthly rent roll spreadsheets, recording sector allocations, and maintaining a continuity schedule for ROU leases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile monthly rent roll spreadsheet to ensure accurate payments to landlords
  • Record sector allocations and update finance on any new allocations
  • Record lease adjustments and update AP accordingly
  • Compare list of differences in capitalization schedule report
  • Assist with annual rent expense forecasting and budgeting
  • Add new leases to capitalization schedule using leasing software
  • Maintain continuity schedule for ROU leases
  • Provide backup support for Senior Corporate Accountant

About You:

  • CPA or nearing completion of certification
  • 2+ years of IFRS full-cycle accounting experience
  • Understanding of IFRS 16
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work extra hours to meet deadlines

Pay Rate: $35/hour
