Job Summary

As a Medical Laboratory Assistant program instructor, you will be responsible for developing and delivering courses, creating a positive learning environment, and fostering student success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver courses in the Medical Laboratory Assistant program
  • Develop and deliver appropriate curriculum to meet course objectives
  • Incorporate a variety of teaching/learning strategies to meet student needs
  • Evaluate student progress/achievement
  • Participate in program and college activities as required
  • Participate in program revision activities as required
  • Create and maintain a positive learning environment
Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with a Medical Laboratory Technologist Advanced Diploma or Degree, and a minimum of five years' experience as a registered Lab Technologist. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a commitment to life-long learning, and the ability to work in a team environment.

Acceptable proof of education from recognized post-secondary institutions or confirmation of international equivalencies will be required as part of the selection process.
