About the Role
CARFAX Canada is seeking a highly skilled Senior Developer to join our team in London, Ontario. As a Senior Developer, you will play a key role in designing and developing front-end and back-end applications using agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop front-end applications using JavaScript, Web Components, and other technologies
  • Assist with back-end API development using SQL, C#, and other languages
  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use
  • Research and recommend new tools and technologies to improve current processes
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, following best practices and design patterns
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to the growth of the team
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
  • Develop and maintain automated testing and deployment processes
  • Lead and participate in sprint planning and product releases

Requirements

  • College diploma or university degree in computer science or a related field
  • Minimum 5+ years of programming experience, with a strong background in C#, JavaScript, and SQL
  • Experience with agile methodologies, version control systems, and automated testing
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Knowledge of Azure microservices, dependency injection, and SOLID design principles is an asset
