Summer Internship Opportunity in Energy Problem Solving

About the Opportunity
TC Energy is seeking a motivated summer student to support our efforts in energy problem solving and daily operations. As a valued member of our team, you will gain a solid understanding of basic regulatory and commercial law, and have the opportunity to understand how the legal research you conduct is applied in a tangible and practical manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct general legal research, analysis, and reporting on Canadian legal issues in the areas of regulatory, commercial, environmental, and compliance law.
- Assist company lawyers with the preparation of and review of various legal documents, including administrative and judicial pleadings, commercial contracts, and other legal agreements.
- Perform other tasks as required.
Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled in a Canadian law school or Faculty of Law.
- Must have completed second year of law school prior to May 2025.
- Enrollment at an accredited university, and returning to school for at least one semester following your work term.
- Must have completed at least one legal research course.
- Business background is considered an asset.
