About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Namu Design. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our building projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Construction: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements and prepare layouts in conformance to building codes.
  • Woodworking: Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
  • Installation and Maintenance: Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware, and maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures.
  • Supervision: Supervise other workers and ensure that all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in carpentry.
  • Work Environment: On the road job with a permanent employment contract.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
