Truck Fleet Supervisor
About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled Truck Fleet Supervisor to join our team at Canada Inc. in a permanent capacity.
Estimated Salary:$60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
Job Description:The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a team of truck drivers, ensuring efficient operations, and implementing measures to improve productivity and product quality.
Responsibilities:Supervise and manage a team of 3-4 or 5-10 people, depending on the operation.
Co-ordinate and schedule activities to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Prepare production and other reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
Analyze data and recommend measures to enhance work methods and productivity.
Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and suggest solutions to improve efficiency and product quality.
Coordinate repairs and rentals as needed.
To succeed in this role, you must have:
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of organization.
Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Experience with MS Office, particularly Excel, is an asset.
