About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced nurse educator to teach theoretical and practical lessons in classroom, distance-learning, lab, and practicum settings. The successful candidate will assist with the facilitation of simulation experiences in the human patient simulator lab and work closely with the chair of Health, Education and Human Services to achieve academic goals.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of a baccalaureate degree in nursing
  • A master's degree in nursing or one in progress, or a master's degree in another health-related field
  • Registration or eligibility for registration with the Yukon Registered Nurses Association
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience working in various clinical settings, such as community health, public health, continuing care, and acute care
  • Previous instructional experience, preferably in adult education
  • A valid Yukon Driver's license
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a collaborative environment with a team of dedicated educators and support staff. You will have access to modern facilities and resources to support your teaching and research activities.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role is $92,608 - $123,912 based on a 0.75 FTE position. A second option is available for an 18-month full-time term with a focus on theory/lab instruction and clinical support as needed.
