About the Role

RocMar Engineering Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our team as a Project Supervisor. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Supervision: Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Site Management: Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Technical Expertise: Conduct technical analyses of survey and field data, prepare reports, and develop construction specifications and procedures.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior engineers, technicians, and technologists, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in structural engineering and project management.
  • Skills: Excellent technical skills, strong leadership and communication abilities, and proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Primavera, and MS Office.
