About the Role

Norton Rose Fulbright is seeking an experienced employment and labour associate to join our Vancouver office. Our firm is one of the largest management-side employment and labour practice groups in the country, providing representation to employers on all aspects of workplace law in unionized and non-unionized environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on employment and labour law matters, including employment litigation and compliance, labour board proceedings, labour arbitration, human rights, and executive employment contracts.
  • Develop and implement human resources strategies, occupational health and safety plans, and workplace policies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide comprehensive representation to clients on all aspects of workplace law.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in employment and labour law and provide guidance to clients on compliance.

Requirements

  • An LL.B. or J.D. degree.
  • At least 2 years of experience practicing employment and labour law in a team environment.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Exceptional client service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
