Job Description

Raymond James Financial, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Telecommunications Expert to join our team in a permanent full-time position. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our advanced telecommunications infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Telecommunications Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and maintain our voice and video infrastructure, including Zoom cloud telephony and video, Cisco telephony and video environment, and Poly video conference hardware.
  • Network Operations: Provide timely support, analysis, and resolution for related problems, ensuring timely delivery of technology solutions that meet the quality, performance, service, and functional requirements of internal and external customers.
  • Planning and Projects: Work with Service Now to manage tickets, complete operational and project-based changes, and prepare capacity plans for Expressways, PRI, network, bandwidth utilization, security, and growth or change.
  • Technical Leadership: Assist in a technical lead role for business projects, provide oral and written presentations and Visio documents on current and emerging technologies, and recommend technical standards that include future proposed standards that require long-range planning.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in large-scale telecommunications environments, with expertise in Voice and Video platforms, network design, and information technology techniques and methodologies.
  • Education: Completion of a Master's degree is a definite asset.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Strong background in Zoom Video and Phone migrations and deployment, understanding of Telephony and Video protocols, and experience with Information Technology techniques and methodologies.
