We are seeking a seasoned Technical Consultant with expertise in IT risk management to join our team at ProViso Staffing. As a key member of our client's internal controls and regulatory management team, you will play a critical role in the Bank's Three Lines of Defense Framework, providing First Line of Defense for client and the Bank across various technology risk domains.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity involves reviewing and revising IT and cyber security risk assessment processes to reduce overlaps and gaps, producing consistent, complete, and accurate results. You will also be responsible for documenting a consolidated view of the approach to enable consistency, completeness, and accurate information in support of governance, oversight, and reporting.

  • Create a risk assessment universe for IT and cyber specific assessments.
  • Develop a clear standard to align and aggregate results, and assess and treat IT and cyber security gaps from risk assessments.
  • Deploy the risk assessment universe and capabilities to support the expectations of the standard in an appropriately robust tool.
Key Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have over 10+ years of experience in IT, or non-financial risk management, with a strong working knowledge in 5+ areas including systems design, security, availability/stability/resiliency, disaster recovery, third-party risk management, change management, release management, audit, regulatory risk, logical access, software currency. Knowledge of banking businesses and related systems, procedures, and regulations is expected.

Nice-to-Have Skills

Candidates with Big 4 consulting experience and relevant certifications such as ITIL V3 Foundation Cert. in ITSM, COBIT, CRISC, CISSP will be considered assets. Experience with technology and cyber security risk assessments, including Threat Risk Assessments, self-risk control assessments, vulnerability assessments, etc., is desirable.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
