We are seeking a highly skilled Architectural Technician to join our team at Roar Engineering Inc. as a key member of our design and development team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development
    • Create detailed three-dimensional (3-D) models with computer-aided design (CAD) software to visualize building designs and layouts.
    • Develop two-dimensional (2-D) drawings and technical specifications to support construction projects.
    • Collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure design accuracy and feasibility.
  • Technical Analysis and Support
    • Analyze technical documents and reports to identify design and construction issues.
    • Assist in supervising construction projects to ensure compliance with design specifications and building codes.
  • Computer and Technology Skills
    • Proficient in Rhinoceros 3D (Rhino), Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, AutoCAD, Autodesk REVIT, SketchUp, and V-Ray.
    • Develop and maintain technical skills to stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements.
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and construction managers.
    • Collaborate with colleagues to resolve design and construction issues.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in architectural design and development.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong understanding of building design and construction principles.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
