Truck and Trailer Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Truck and Trailer Maintenance Technician to join our team at the Manitoulin Group of Companies. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet of trucks and trailers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
  • Conduct yearly CVI inspections and complete required paperwork.
  • Troubleshoot and repair emissions systems, electrical systems, and lighting systems.
  • Repair or replace chassis components, such as springs, spring hangers, and axles.
  • Repair or replace flooring, rub rails, and door trim.
  • Clean your personal area during and at the end of each shift.
  • Assist in performing any tasks outside those listed in primary job functions.
  • Timely and regular attendance according to scheduled shift.

Qualifications:

  • Valid class 5 license at minimum.
  • Truck and Trailer Mechanics License.
  • Valid CVIP license.
