Senior Project Manager - Construction

Job Summary:

Bird Construction Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager - Construction to lead our construction projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and contractors, to ensure project success.
  • Monitor and control project costs, ensuring adherence to budget and financial targets.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP degree in a relevant field, such as construction management, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction management, with a strong background in project management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in project management software, including MS Project, Asana, or similar tools.
