Our medical centre is nestled near a local pharmacy, offering seamless integration with our existing network of services. We're excited to welcome a skilled physician to join our collaborative practice, working alongside two experienced Nurse Practitioners and enjoying access to lab and x-ray facilities.
Responsibilities and Expectations- We are seeking a motivated physician to examine patients, take comprehensive histories, order diagnostic tests, and provide expert advice on healthcare promotion and disease prevention.
- Consultation and referral services will be a vital part of your role, ensuring seamless communication with other medical practitioners.
- You will act as a patient advocate, prioritizing their needs and well-being.
- Prescription and administration of medications, treatments, inoculations, and vaccinations will also be an essential aspect of this position.
- A key responsibility will be reporting births, deaths, contagious diseases, and other health incidents as required by Nova Scotia Public Health regulations.
We offer a competitive daily rate of $650, inclusive of a guaranteed minimum and a generous per diem allowance. Funding is provided through the rural locum program, ensuring a stable financial foundation for this opportunity. Additionally, you'll benefit from remuneration for travel expenses, allowing you to focus on delivering exceptional care without worrying about logistical costs.
