Job Description

The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in carpentry and related skills, including reading blueprints, measuring and cutting materials, and operating woodworking machines.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials;
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications;
  • Measuring, cutting, fitting and installing drywall sheets;
  • Measuring wood products to ensure conformance to specifications;
  • Repairing or restyling wooden furniture, fixtures and related products;
  • Operating woodworking machines, such as power saws, jointers, mortisers and shapers, to cut, shape and form parts and components;

You will work closely with our construction team to deliver high-quality results and meet deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in carpentry or a related field;
  • Trade certification in carpentry (Carpenter Trade Certification);

  • Fall Arrest Protection Training Course;
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation;
  • Ability to work at heights and in physically demanding environments;
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills;

Preferred qualifications include experience with hand tools and a certificate in fall protection.
