Job Summary:

Charger Logistics, a world-class asset-based carrier, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Data Analyst to join our team based out of our Brampton office. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting financial data to inform business decisions and drive growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Analysis: Monitor the financial status of the Group by comparing results with projections and prior periods, identifying drivers of performance, and analyzing competitor and industry trends.
  2. Reporting and Insights: Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and presentations to provide stakeholders with timely and accurate financial information.
  3. Financial Planning and Budgeting: Collaborate with the corporate finance team to develop and implement financial plans, forecasts, and budgets.
  4. Financial Systems and Tools: Work with the Finance & IT department to manage and analyze financial data using Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Dynamics, Tableau, and Power BI.
  5. Financial Governance: Ensure accurate and timely financial information is recorded and reported, and perform financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts.

Requirements:

  1. 7+ years of experience working in a corporate finance role, including investment banking, corporate FP&A, consulting, public accounting, and corporate banking.
  2. Outstanding presentation and writing skills.
  3. Understanding of lenders and debt capital markets is a plus.
  4. Understanding of financial accounting and GAAP.
