Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Shipper / Receiver / Clamp Truck Operator to join our Scarborough (Brimley) location team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient receipt and shipment of goods. This is a full-time opportunity that requires rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.


Responsibilities

As a successful candidate, you will be responsible for:

  • Working in a team environment and maintaining a collaborative approach to achieve common goals.
  • Understanding and implementing Atlantic's quality system, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensuring safe working practices at all times, adhering to health and safety protocols, and reporting any incidents or concerns to your supervisor/manager.
  • Loading and unloading trailers, checking counts, and verifying shipping instructions.
  • Locating orders within the warehouse, identifying units correctly, and preparing them for shipment.
  • Operate a forklift safely and efficiently, performing daily pre-shift checks and following ISO and HACCP procedures.
  • Participating in QWG and Safety meetings, communicating effectively with colleagues and management, and upholding regular attendance.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Prior experience operating a forklift and a valid license.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Compliance with company policies and COVID-19 protocols.
